Dr. Edwards is certified by the American Board of Surgery and by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. His practice is comprised of surgical treatment of cardiovascular disease, which includes heart transplantation, coronary bypass surgery, heart valve repair and replacement, minimal access heart surgery, open heart surgery for the geriatric patient, LVAD implantation, mitral valve repair, and atrial fibrillation surgery.
