Dr. Gould is certified by the American Board of Surgery, is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons and member of the American Society for Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Gould’s clinical specialties include foregut surgery and minimally invasive surgery. He uses minimally invasive techniques to treat acid reflux, obesity, achalasia, and hernias. He also treats certain spleen, adrenal, and bowel disorders utilizing a minimally invasive approach. Designated a Center of Excellence by the American Society for Bariatric Surgery, Dr. Gould has published numerous articles in major medical journals and taught many other surgeons how to safely perform the laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass procedure.
