Dr. Mell’s current clinical interests include complex aortic surgical reconstruction and endovascular treatment of carotid disease and peripheral artery disease. He is skilled in the full scope of vascular surgery, including stent-grafts, aortic, carotid and peripheral revascularization, dialysis access, pacemakers, varicose veins and stasis ulcer surgery. His general surgery experience includes liver, pancreatic and gastrointestinal surgery, as well as a wide range of laparoscopic procedures. Dr. Mell’s current research interests include MRA in the evaluation of infrapopliteal occlusive disease and management of the hypogastric artery in the endovascular treatment of abdominal aneurysmal disease.
