Dr. Rahko is an associate professor of medicine in the cardiovascular medicine section at the University of Wisconsin Medical School. He is the director of the Adult Echocardiography Lab at UW Hospital and Clinics. His clinical interests include digital image storage and retrieval systems, evaluating ventricular function, characterization of ventricular structure and function changes in heart failure and echocardiographic manifestations of valvular heart disease. He is also involved in the medical management of end-stage heart failure, including the evaluation of innovative pharmaceutical and device therapies for heart failure.
