Dr. Williams is fellowship-trained in Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery. He specializes in all aspects of male infertility, including:
- Microsurgical vasectomy reversal - Vasovasostomy and the more complex vasoepididymostomy
- Microsurgical varicocelectomy - Varicocele is the most common surgically-correctable cause of male factor infertility; surgery is done on a same-day outpatient surgery basis, typically under general anesthesia
- Sperm procurement techniques including testicular sperm extraction (TESE), microscopic epididymal sperm aspiration (MESA), and microdissection-TESE
- Sperm cryopreservation
- Electroejaculation
- Treatment of testicular failure and male hypogonadism (testosterone deficiency)
In addition to vasectomies, Dr. Williams’ work in general urology includes medical and surgical treatments of:
- Erectile dysfunction
- Peyronie’s disease
- Diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (including laser treatment of BPH)
- Urinary tract infections
- Prostatitis
Dr. Williams works with our physicians in Generations Fertility Care who treat female-factor infertility to help diagnose and treat infertile couples.
