Rebecca S. Sippel, MD earned her medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She completed her general surgery residency at UW Hospital and Clinics, as well as an endocrine surgery fellowship at the University of California-San Francisco. She specializes in endocrine surgery (thyroid surgery, neck lymph node dissection, minimally invasive parathyroidectomy and laparoscopic adrenalectomy); minimally invasive endocrine surgery, radioguided surgery, surgical oncology and adult general surgery.

Dr. Sippel conducts translational research at the University of Wisconsin Comprehensive Cancer Center. Her research program investigates the development and treatment of endocrine tumors, with a special interest in thyroid cancer. She also conducts clinical research working on improving the care and outcomes of patients with endocrine tumors. |
