Dr. Hedican is certified by the American Board of Urology. In 2001, he performed the first laparoscopic pyeloplasty in the state of Wisconsin. His clinical specialties include reconstructive laparoscopy, minimally invasive cancer therapy, robotic surgery, and nerve sparing prostatectomy in the treatment of prostate cancer.

Research

Dr. Hedican serves as co-director of the endourology fellowship and performs research in the areas of minimally invasive cancer treatments and gene therapy delivery systems, and the immunologic response to renal cryoablation.
