Micah R. Chan, MD, MPH, is an assistant professor of nephrology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He is board-certified in internal medicine and nephrology. Dr. Chan is a member of the American Society of Nephrology and the American Society of Diagnostic Interventional Nephrology. His clinical focus is the prevention, evaluation and treatment of chronic kidney disease, with special interest in referral patterns. Dr. Chan is currently involved in a broad range of clinical research in interventional nephrology. With his colleagues, he plans to improve vascular access for hemodialysis patients with novel methods of treatment and prevention.
