M. Alison Brooks, MD, MPH, specializes in pediatric and adolescent primary care sports medicine. She is board certified in pediatrics and fellowship-trained in sports medicine. Dr. Brooks provides medical coverage for Badger women's ice hockey and men's soccer. Her special interests include cartilage injury, fractures, and sports injury prevention in children and adolescents in addition to medical and musculoskeletal problems in cyclists.

Dr. Brooks is currently conducting research to test bracing in adolescents with acute, symptomatic spondylolyis, as well as a study to test musculoskeletal outcome instruments in young athletes with low back pain. |
