John O. Fleming, MD, is a Professor of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. His medical interests include multiple sclerosis, viral infections of the central nervous system and hygiene hypothesis. Dr. Fleming’s teaching interests consist of multiple sclerosis, central nervous system infections and bioethics.

Research

Dr. Fleming’s research currently consists of clinical trials of multiple sclerosis therapies, advanced neuroimaging in multiple sclerosis, animal models of viral-induced demyelination, immunochemistry of viruses and viral evolutions and persistence.
