Kris Chan, MD, is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He earned his medical degree from Ramathibodi-Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand and completed his residency at UW Hospital and Clinics and the University of Rochester in New York. Dr. Chan diagnoses and treats brain tumors, carotid disease, cervical disc disease, lumbar disc disease and spinal tumors (primary and secondary). He provides endarterectomies, cerioheral nerve surgery (carpal tunnel/ulnar nerve procedures) and spine surgery including X-Stop, minimally-invasive spine surgery and artificial cervical disc.
