Dr. Ferguson has been a member of UW Health's Heart and Vascular staff since 1995 when he joined the
section of preventive cardiology and began a preventive cardiology practice. A good portion of his work
with patients focuses on the primary and secondary prevention of coronary artery disease and stroke.

| Dr. Ferguson's research focuses on the severity of coronary artery disease and lipoprotein subclass
distribution in a primary care and preventive cardiology outpatient practice in addition to patient
adherence to therapy and provider adherance to guidelines, cardiac rehabilitation and combination
treatment of lipid disorders. |
