Susan S. Ferson, MSN, CPNP, is a pediatric nurse practitioner who coordinates the Spasticity and Movement Disorders Program in the Department of Pediatric Neurosurgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She provides pre-and post-operative care and teaching for patients undergoing general neurosurgical procedures and their families. Ms. Ferson has extensive experience in managing dose adjustments, refills and in troubleshooting for children and adults with baclofen pumps, and has lectured on these subjects nationally. She practiced as a neurosurgical PNP in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Portland, Oregon prior to joining UW Health.
