Research

Dr. Heiner is studying the use of proximal femoral allografts in total hip revision, and he recently completed a comparison of collared versus collarless designs in femoral endoprostheses. His current basic science research involves metastatic disease and collagen markers, gene markers in soft tissue sarcomas, and bone morphogenetic proteins.
