Dr. Keevil is a member of the preventive cardiology group and co-director of cardiac CT angiography. He has additional clinical interests in diagnostic cardiac catheterization. In addition to an active outpatient practice in general cardiology and prevention, Dr. Keevil has a regularly scheduled outreach clinic and is a frequent lecturer to the community and CME audiences. Dr. Keevil possesses undergraduate degrees in engineering and computer science. He is heavily involved in the education of new physicians. He is currently the director of cardiovascular medicine/pathophysiology course for second-year medical students.

Dr. Keevil’s research interests focus on preventive cardiology, including applying technology to improve clinical care and education. He has developed a computer program that predicts individual risks of developing heart disease at baseline and after risk modification. The program is used in education and clinical decision making by either patients or physicians. |
