Dr. Khuntia completed his undergraduate and medical school education at the University of Illinois. He
spent the next five years at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation for his residency. He joined the Radiation
Oncology department at UW Hospital and Clinics in 2004. He is providing radiation oncology services at
the new UW Cancer Center Johnson Creek.

| Dr. Khuntia is currently working on a variety of clinical trials in the cancer center, including using new
technologies to deliver extracranial radioablative doses to lung tumors. Also, he is actively involved in a
developing new ways to reduce toxicities from treatment of brain metastasis. He is also active in directing
the second year medical school course in Neoplastic Diseases. |
