Michael J. MacDonald, MD, earned his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and completed his residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. Dr. MacDonald is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatric endocrinology and pediatrics. He has a special clinical interest in children with diabetes and his research interests are pediatric diabetes and the biochemistry of the pancreatic insulin-producing cell.
