John J. Wilson, MD, specializes in primary care sports medicine. Dr. Wilson is board certified in family medicine and fellowship-trained in sports medicine. He is a team physician for the University of Wisconsin Athletic Department. In this role, he provides medical coverage for the Badger men’s football and wrestling teams. His special interests include treatment of sports related injuries, tendonitis and arthritis in active individuals.

Dr. Wilson's current research includes investigation of the prevalence of automated external defibrillators and emergency action preparedness for sudden cardiac arrest in Wisconsin high schools, as well as home exercise programs for osteoarthritis of the knee. |
